Left wants Pope Leo to counter conservative Christians who want strong borders | The author suggests the pope carries great power in the West. He does, but mainly with conservative Catholics on faith issues, but who have already split with their church on politics. MAGA and other nationalist populist movements were born under Francis and he was a globalist. Nothing the pope says can slow down these movements. Pope Leo will change nothing.
DOJ moves to lift 60 year old archaic desegregation orders | In making the case for continued desegregation orders, AP writes that a school with a 38% minority population has not fully integrated. That's absurd. The left won't be happy until all students go to school in a faraway neighborhood. One simply can't remove all responsibility from the parents. If a black family lives in a bad part of town, there are plenty of ways to get their student into a good school. Many counties have open enrollment. Private schools exist, many with free or reduced tuition for disadvantaged students. Or the family could always move, what a concept. Courts can't protect people from themselves. If they stay in a terrible school district and make no effort to move their child, that's where they should go to school.

. . . and here's a Dem calling for a 'radical center wing' | Dems are understandably frustrated with their leftist activists. The problem is their dedication is comparable to any fundamentalist's. The aggressive advocacy for extreme environmentalism, wokeness and hatred of all borders can't be easily contained in the digital age. They will not remain invisible or silent and the legacy media can no longer contain the damage. This is why the left have moved to control social media so aggressively. It's their only path to victory . . .

Why did liberal Justices write three 9-0 conservative opinions? | This author suspects somethings afoot. I'm afraid I agree. My best guess is they intend to rule against Trump on an issue or issues he ran on, pitting the Court against the electorate. Unanimous cases boost the Court's credibility, capital they believe they need so they can spend it on opinions that deplete its credibility.

Musk: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files . . . doubles down | I don't think this is true because Biden would have used it. If any file exists implicating Trump in the Epstein mess, the lawfare obsessed Biden admin would have used it. This is so absurd that I'm starting to think this is a plan the two hatched up to get Musk out of trouble with many on the left.
Actually, it already came out that Trump is in the Epstein files | The story is a nothing burger.

Trump: We should terminate Elon's gov't subsidies and contracts . . . Elon was "wearing thin," I asked him to leave
Musk: Without me, Trump loses WH, House and Senate
Trump: Elon got mad when we cut the EV mandate | Musk has been targeted heavily by the left and the media. He has focused on cutting costs and the budget does not do that. Neither party is willing to cut entitlements. DOGE cuts simply don't accomplish much at all. Maybe someone should run on cutting entitlement spending . . .

Biden: I made the decisions despite autopen use | This palace intrigue situation should result in a law requiring the president to physically sign any pardon or law going forward. The autopen allows for the real possibility of a puppet president.
Opinion: True conservatives have vanished | Trump is actually more conservative on foreign policy and upholding tradition. Forcing democracy on others and military adventurism is not a conservative approach. I would think the more conservative approach is that espoused by George Washington, stay out of other countries' business as much as possible, and that describes Trump. As far as upholding traditional customs and values, this is exactly why young men vote Trump. Young women favor overturning every societal norm.

Telegraph alleges Darren Beattie has Russian ties, shut down 'counter-Russia agency' | Regardless of Darren Beattie's intent, many wanted the so-called 'counter-Russia agency' shut down because it was being used to stifle free speech in America. This article is typical legacy media re-framing of an issue to fit its overwrought narrative. The Counter Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference office could be used to silence a dissenting voice against the leftist Democratic government. The Russians could always be credibly accused of anti-American attacks on the government and conservatives who also criticized the government would be labeled Russian stooges by this so-called watchdog. Look no further than the Hunter Biden laptop for proof. Many intelligence agents signed a letter saying it was Russian disinformation, the media ran with it, Biden won. We only later came to find out everything in it was true.
Exposing Joe Biden assured Trump's re-election, so media hid truth | The media, far more of an influence in the US than Russia, represent the most powerful disinformation force.

Why 'tit for tat' lawfare is necessary | Trump DOJ needs to go after those who abused their power.
