S.Ct. likely to reverse three-judge panel blocking Trump use of Alien Enemies act | Judge that backed Trump wrote, 'Time and time and time again, the Supreme Court has instructed that the President’s declaration of an invasion, insurrection, or incursion is conclusive. Final. And completely beyond the second-guessing powers of unelected federal judges.'

NY Times gets it wrong, Trump the true champion of democracy | Trump is winning against universities because of their hyper-hypocritical racist policies and he is eviscerating silent tyranny with every deep state agency he eliminates or weakens. The bureaucratic deep state does not want to answer to the people. The left frames its destruction as an attack on democracy because they use gaslighting as a primary, and very effective, propaganda tool. The left (Dems and media) allege that Trump is doing exactly what they are doing, undermining democracy, to throw low-information voters off their trail. There is nothing democratic about the deep state, the exact opposite. Using lawfare and Internet censorship paired with a compliant legacy media, the deep state nearly took over in this country. Trump defeated them and continues to and they despise him for it.
Gov. Walz openly rooting for Trump's demise
This goose-stepping idiocy reminds us who the enemy is | Rather than intimidate, this reminds the West that China and Russia are fully aligned against freedom with no intention of ever changing. If India wants to ally themselves with this militaristic enemy of democracy, good luck when they cheat on every deal they make with you. No stance on trade is too tough in dealing with the thieves in Beijing.
Xi intended to show up US's 'sloppy show,' Trump says Xi should admit US made huge WWII contribution | It is true that the US doesn't do goose stepping parades, but that's a strength. A brief look at history shows which armies valued such nonsense, and they typically weren't fans of freedom. China apparently views this as a strength, but the free world sees China for the monsters they are. All you need to know is that China is confining many of its citizens in their homes so they don't ruin the parade video. China is an enemy of freedom.

Bessent: We're approaching a trade deficit tipping point leading to financial crisis
Trump: We need tariffs for our national security | Democracy respecting courts are least likely to intervene where national security is a justification if the link can be clearly made. The judicial branch must defer to the elected branches on national security issues because national survival requires quick, and often controversial, decision making. National security lies at the heart of the political question doctrine, where political mandate and accountability are paramount. Courts are profoundly ill-equipped to handle such matters. Tragically, Democratic judicial appointees all too often tend to favor judicial and deep state bureaucratic tyranny over representative government. But if a 7-4 vote in an 8-4 Dem controlled court finding Trump tariffs illegal is any guide, the 6-3 GOP controlled Supreme Court will likely defer to Trump on national security question of tariffs.

Trump has pushed India closer to China momentarily, but it won't last | China and India have deeply rooted and adverse economic, political, cultural and demographic forces that repel them like the north poles of two magnets. In the face of Trump's fundamental remolding of India's trade deal with the United States, India searches for any alternative to the new deal in a panic. What can a corrupt, grossly overpopulated and poverty-ridden neighbor offer to its also overpopulated and poverty-ridden neighbor? Ultimately nothing. Time will prove this. India desperately needs the US market. Trump is simply refusing to allow the nation to treat us unfairly in trade. Eventually the less profitable for India new trade deal that Trump wants will become acceptable to India, but they are instinctively trying every other bad path first. India may very well know that China can offer them little, but they are also trying to run out the clock on Trump as well, hoping a Democrat will win next time around.

NY Times conflates holding gov't scientists accountable with despotism | The left blindly accepts any consensus of gov't funded scientists as truth. This is often a mistake. Our recent Covid experience demonstrates this well. Much of what the gov't science told us was very wrong. Most people did not need a shot but the lie of herd immunity was backed as unquestionable. A gov't should be careful not to take sides in scientific debates where one side battles it out with minority scientific views. All data-based and philosophically supportable views should be supported by the gov't. The gov't bias should be for more research, not adopting one view as the correct one. Deep state bureaucratic funded scientists have no accountability and, surprise, promote data that supports a leftist bureaucratic worldview. Gov't must be blind to the political implications of science it supports. NY Times wants unflinching support for leftist science and disguises any demand for fairness as anti-science. Trump is definitely not anti-science, but he wants a fair playing field for all scientists. The truth very often emerges from those who test minority theories.

Liberal Federal Circuit finds Trump tariffs illegal | Opinion | This Court is 8-4 Dem-GOP. The vote was 7-4 with one GOP appointee in the majority, two Dems and two GOP in dissent and one GOP sitting out the case. WH is probably right to expect a win in the Supreme Court. Tariffs remain until the Supreme Court can deal with the case, so likely a speedbump that amounts to nothing for Trump's tariffs.

Lisa Cook blames 'clerical error' for her mortgage fraud | How convenient for Mrs. Cook, she gets the benefit of a lower interest rate and more forgiving terms on her second 'primary home' because she made a clerical error. Mortgage documents are extensive and you know if you are saying it's a primary home or not. There are disclosures that you will review with your closer. If she missed it, that's on her. Also, she's competent enough on financial matters to help run the Federal Reserve Bank yet she's incapable of noticing a major error on her second home mortgage, written out numerous times, that carries potential criminal consequences? This is not a clerical error, it's fraud.

WaPo notices that ICE and Trump are serious about saving America | It wasn't really a religious movement, but manifest destiny certainly evoked religious imagery and concepts. One could fairly say the MAGA movement embraces the manifest destiny worldview with a modern twist. Rather than expanding geographically it demands real borders and insists on legal immigration only, allowing in only those who can contribute, all in a mission to make America great again. The nation only survives with strong immigration laws. And it's not a racial movement either. Trump won nearly half of Hispanics and a much larger share of the black vote than typical Republicans explicitly running on this message.
Lisa Cook's attorney: 'No cause exists under the law' to remove Cook | Trump has the authority to remove her for cause. This comes down to timing, meaning all that's needed is a little more time and she'll resign. The evidence strongly suggests she has committed mortgage fraud, which is a felony. If she likely committed a felony, Trump has cause to fire. When the facts settle in to all parties involved, it's likely Cook resigns. As of now, she doesn't have a legal argument to support her remaining. The only argument that might save her must involve some error in the primary residence reporting. If she in fact claimed two primary residences at the same time, she will resign.
Dems claim mortgage fraud is the 'flimsiest of unproven pretexts' | This line of thinking comes from the Democrats can do no wrong category. A felony is flimsy?

The threat South Korea faces from North Korea is too high to play games with America's commitment to the standoff. Trump has the better hand. AP promotes its view of what constitutes Christian sin | This is raised in the context of immigration where the left believes Jesus would have supported unrestricted immigration. This represents a simplified, and almost certainly wrong, view of Christ's opinion on the matter. He spoke of the necessity to give respect for the laws of secular government even at a time of widespread unjust religious and political executions. He himself submitted to an execution when he could have started a political revolution. It's almost a certainty that he would have respected the border laws of any nation if it were in fact the law. Border laws are essential for sustainable, orderly and peaceful legal immigration, so strong borders are an unquestionable good. Would Jesus help an illegal immigrant? Yes, but he would have done so within the law as best as possible and advised him or her to respect the legal border.

Dems losing registration race in all 30 states that track party affiliation
NYT: Democrat party has a huge voter registration problem | Dems are losing new voters, battleground states are swinging right, gender gap advantage has switched to the GOP, younger voters choose the GOP and it all keeps getting worse.

Conservatives help their young thinkers and why liberals don’t | There's one big problem with this analysis. It ignores the university system which consists almost entirely of programs for left-leaning young people. The left has no need to cultivate young leftist thinkers because professors do that. This article supports this conclusion.
Musk abandons 3rd party, will likely back Vance 2028
Musk issues non-denial denial, 'nothing @WSJ says should be thought of as true.' | This is a broad and silly statement that implies he's denying the story, but he's not specifically denying it. He couldn't be pinned to a denial and that's the point, he's not really denying the story.
Musk allies imply he's given up on 3rd party | Allies say he 'hasn't formally ruled out' the new party and could change his mind. This implies he's informally decided to end the 3rd party effort.
The Putin-Zelensky summit will be hard to pull off
The criticism that Dems are playing too nice is absurd | Trump is a response to the decades of viciousness we've seen from the Democrats. For decades the GOP standard bearers, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, McCain and Romney, and all their acolytes in Congress, played too nice. They would not go after Democrats the way Dems go after Republicans. When Dems lied and called them racists using the worst sort of slander, they just took it. They said Republicans want to starve children, take away rights from women and destroy minority communities. Dems have been playing hardball with lies for decades. The problem isn't that Dems are playing too nice, it's that Trump fought fire with fire and neutralized their dirty tactics and they don't know how to respond. They can try to use Trump's tactics like Newsom is doing, but it's phony and will get stale. It works for Trump because he's just being himself and readers know that. Voters want authenticity more than anything and Trump forged a resilient connection on that basis. The only thing they can try is being themselves, like Zohran Mamdani is doing, and see if that works. It won't because socialism is a failed economic strategy and political ideology.
Schumer picks 'an idiot,' Jack Schlossberg, to sit on the America 250 Commission
